Sabbann - Klinge marriage - 1912

Wednesday, May 22nd, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Klinge, at Monona, occurred the wedding of their daughter Hilma to Ewald A. Sabbann, of Farmersburg. Mrs. Arthur J. Palas, of Elkader, aunt of the bride, sang "I Love You Truly" and "O Promise Me". Helmuth Klinge, cousin of the bride, attended the groom, and Miss Ruby Klinge, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid, attended by Harold Oelke, a cousin of the groom. Little Bernice Oelke was ring bearer, and Miss Ruta Klinge, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Rev. Otto Wappler performed the ceremony. At six o'clock Miss Bertha Aulerich, cousin of the bride, invited the guests to the lawn where a three course dinner was served. About a hundred guests were present. After a two weeks trip the new couple will be at home on their farm sotheast of Farmersburg.
