Downie - Geaghan marriage - 1892

On Tuesday occurred the marriage of Wm. Downie to Johanna Geaghan, both of Volga twp., Rev. Father Sheehan officiating. The bride is the adopted daughter of the late Timoth Callaghan, of this twp. The groom is a son of Michael Downie. The wedding took place at the home of the groom, and was an elaborate affair. The young couple go to housekeeping on one of Michael Uriell's farms.
