Eggerth - Piehl marriage - 1888

At the residence of the bride's parents, on Oct. 16th, occurred the marriage of Emma Piehl to Werner Eggerth, of Luverne, Iowa. The ceremony was performed by Mr. Coatigan, J.P. The groom was born and raised in Clayton County, but has for a number of years been furniture dealer at Luverne. He was recently appointed postmaster at Luverne. The bride has been engaged for a number of years in the millinery business in Elkport. They left the same day for their western home.
