St. Joseph's church, Elkader, was the scene of the Wedding of Miss Lucille Meyer and Mr. Sylvester Winch, Thursday, Jan. 08, Rev. Father Taken officiating. Miss Gladys Katz was maid of honor and Mr. Janarius Zapf, cousin of the groom, was best man. The bride is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Meyer of Elkader and a graduate of the Elkader high school, having been valedictorian of her class. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Winch of Littleport and is a graduate of the Littleport high school.
