Schmidt - Hock marriage - 1930

The St. Sebald parish church northwest of town was the scene of a pretty wedding Saturday when Miss Helen Hock became the bride of Alex Schmidt, Rev. E. R. Melchert officiated. They were unattended. The bride is the youngest daughter of John Hock, Sr., and has grown to womanhood in this immediate vicinity and graduated with the class of 1925 from the Strawberry Point High School, after which she has been teaching in the rural schools. The groom is custodian of the Strawberry Point school.
