Pugh - Ivory marriage - 1930

Sacred Heart church in Cox Creek was the scene of the wedding of Miss Florence Ann Ivory and Gerald Pugh, Rev. Father Scallon, of Dubuque, officiating. They were attended by Miss Gertrude O'Brien and Gernon Ivory, cousin of the bride. The bride is the second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Ivory and a graduate of the Elkader high school, Class of 1926, and since has been a teacher. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pugh, of this vicinity. They will be at home on the groom's farm near Strawberry Point.
