Putz - Thyne marriage - 1930

Albert Putz, son of John Putz of this place, and Miss Eileen Thyne, daughter of Mrs. Mary Thyne of near Elkader, were married Tuesday at Sacred Heart church at Cox Creek. Rev. Father Bowen was the officiating clergy. The couple were attended by Miss Josephine Thyne, sister of the bride, and Dr. A. E. Putz of St. Louis, brother of the groom. Delores Putz, niece of the groom, presided at the organ, while Mrs. E. J. Putz of Edgewood, and Mrs. Jennie Behrens of New Hampton, sang during the nuptial mass. A three course wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Anna Mullen. The new couple will reside on the groom's father's farm one half mile west of town.
