The marriage of Miss Agnes Johnson and Mr. George Schmidt of this place occurred Thursday, Oct. 21st, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels. Johnson, at Warren, Minn. Rev. Swenson, of that city, officiated.
They arrived in Elkader Sunday, where they will be at home shortly in the Falkenhainer flat on Front Street.
The bride taught music and drawing in the Elkader schools for two years. The groom is one of Elkader's young business men, the proprietor of Schmidt's Pharmacy, and was born and raised here. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Schmidt, of this place.
