Downard - Broihier marriage - 1915

DOWNARD, BROIHIER, SCHMITZ

Fred B. Downard, our new jeweler, stole a march on his friends here by being quietly married to Miss Josephine C. Broihier, of Ossian, Saturday, July 3rd, at the Catholic parsonage, Rev. Father Hogan officiating. The bride is of excellent standing in her community and is a sister of Mrs. T. F. Schmitz, of that place. The groom, during his few months stay here, has made a host of friends, who will be pleased to welcome him and his bride to Monona as permanent residents here. The couple is now settled in their new home above the Jewelry store.
