Schlake - Schmidt marriage - 1915

On Tuesday, Feb. 16th, a quiet but beautiful wedding occurred at th home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. J. Schmidt, when their daughter, B___na Marie, and Herman C. Schlake, were united in Marriage. The wedding march was played by Miss Ruth Schlake. Leroy Schlake, brother of the groom served as best man, and bridesmaid was Miss Nettie Schlake. Rev. K. Braun tied the nuptial knot. After a short honeymoon to western Iowa, the new couple will be at home on a farm in Farmersburg township after Mar. 1st.
