There was a wedding at the M.E. Parsonage last Wednesday afternoon.

John Foster, of Brush Creek, bought his bride, Miss Clara Ogle, from Highland, and Rev. Carlton united them in marriage. They intend to begin housekeeping at Elkader. The bride is a daughter of one of the old settlers of Highland; and the groom is the son of J. A. Foster, of broad acquaintance at Brush Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Finiff came with the contracting parties to stand as witnesses. - Strawberry Point Press, undated.
