At the residence of the bride's parents, Elkader, on Wednesday, July 9th, 1890, occurred the marriage of Henry Blanchaine, of LaPorte, Iowa, to Miss Maggie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wolfgang Schmidt, of Elkader. Rev. F. W. Seifert officiated. The groom is a born and bred Clayton county boy, but is now a prosperous druggist at LaPorte, this state. The couple will make LaPorte their home.

Elkader Register, Thur., 10 July 1890.
