At the residence of C. H. Wiegand, at Giard, Wednesday May 25th, occurred the marriage of Miss Alma Brown to George Heilman, of Mendon. Rev. H. A. Green, of Strawberry Point, a brother-in-law of the bride, officiated. Mrs. Heilman is well known to our readers, having lived much of her life near McGregor and for some time past with her brother, H. D. Brown, of Elkader. It is through her ministry as a nurse she will be longest remembered. Mr. Heilman is a brother of Mrs. H. D. Brown. Their home will be in Mendon twp.
