A large number of invited guests gathered at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. Allert, Sr., on Thursday May 5th, 1898, to witness the marriage of their daughter, Lena E., to Chas. Lange. The ceremony performed by Rev. Chas. Allert, of Milwaukee. The new couple will make their home on the old homestead of Mr. Lange's near Froelich.

Elkader Register, Thur., 12 May 1898.
