Bush - Pratt marriage - 1895

One of the most charming weddings of the season was that of Mr. John V. Bush and Cynthia May Pratt, last Thursday at Osterdock. Rev. L. S. Cooley, of Volga City, officiated. M. R. Seipple, of Dubuque, was best man, while Miss Amy Bush was bridesmaid. Miss Annie Bush, sister of the groom, presided at the organ. The bride is the only daughter and child of H. G. Pratt, formerly a resident of Fredericksburg, but for the past 18 months has been a resident of this place. The groom is the youngest son of Warren Bush, and an old and respected citizen of Mallory twp.
