Shekleton - Lynch marriage - 1895

On Monday, June 24th, 1895, at the Catholic church, occurred the marriage of Willie Shekleton of Eden, Ia., to Miss Katie C. Lynch of this place, Rev. Father Reilly officiating. Miss Anna S. Rogers was bridesmaid and Mr. P. McMahon was best man. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. John Lynch, of Read twp., and has taught many terms of school in our county. The groom is a well known man of Fayette County and the couple are to reside on his farm near Eden, in Fayette County.
