Kelleher - Upton marriage - 1893

Tuesday, Sept. 19, the wedding bells rang merrily for the marriage of James Kelleher and Miss Julia Upton. The ceremony was at St. Joseph's church and Rev. Father Rielly officiated. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Upton. The groom is a son of Thomas Kelleher, of Elkader. The bride and groom were both born and raised in this township. The new couple will make Elkader their home.
