Soll - Schmidt marriage - 1894

At the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. Schmidt, of this place, on Wednesday, occurred the marriage of their daughter Amelia to Fred H. Soll. The ceremony was performed by Rev. F. W. Seifert, The groom is the recorder of Clayton County, and previous to that position was a member of the firm of Soll Bros., a business house of Elkport. The bride was born and raised at Elkader. They will settle down in the new Bayless cottage.
