Regan - Uriell marriage - 1894

At Algona, Iowa, on Wednesday, Oct. 17th, occurred the marriage of Michael Regan, of Elkader, and Miss Kate Uriell, daughter of the late James Uriell, of Read twp., Rev. J. F. Reilly, of St. Joseph's church of this place, performed the ceremony. Frank Niemeyer and Miss May Hodges were present as best man and bridesmaid. The groom is head of the furniture firm of Regan & Witt of Elkader. The bride has made Elkader her home for several years and for some few months since moved with her sister, Mrs. J. J. Kann, to Algona. The new couple will reach Elkader today to make their home.
