Eckart - Borman marriage - 1894

The residence of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Borman of this place was the scene of a happy event, Tuesday, it being the marriage of their daughter Linnie R. to John P. Eckart, of Buck Creek. Rev. F. W. Siefert officiated. The couple were attended by Aug. Borman, Jr., brother of the bride, as groomsman, and Miss Eckart, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid. The bride is one of Elkader's fairest. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Eckart, of Guttenberg, but now a resident of Brush Creek, filling the responsible position of cashier of the Commercial Bank of that place. The new couple will settle at Brush Creek.
