Married - At the M.E. Parsonage, McGregor, Iowa, January 7th, 1891, H. L. Meier, of Schaller, Iowa, to Miss Clara Shepherd, of Garnavillo, Rev. Lease officiating. The bride is a daughter of one of Clayton county's substantial farmers, For the past five years she has been a teacher in the public schools of the county. The couple will remove to Schaller, Sac Co., where their new home awaits them.

Elkader Register, Thur., 15 Jan. 1891.
