MARRIED. At Oronoco, Olmstead county, Minnesota, on Tuesday, August 10th, by Rev. Mr. Wright, T.A. Olmstead to Miss Lawyer; and D.J. Bascom to Miss Crowell, all of Oronoco.
Our friend Olmstead has formed a partnership with one who will doubtless be of great value to him in the shifting scenes of life - who so able to render him a service as a legal friend? We suppose that Tim has not gone to court for the last twelve months without consulting his LAWYER. May the fair counsel hold her client in bonds of love till their house is filled with living evidences of the genuineness of the Attachment.

Notes:
-From an Ancestry tree - Timothy Allen Olmstead, s/o LeGrand & Polly (Soule) Olmstead. Tim's wife: Louise Amelia Lawyer. Like all family trees, this should be independently researched to confirm the relationships.-1854 Iowa State census, Monona twp.: LeGrand Olmsted, with 2 males & 3 females; 2 of voting age and one of militia age in his household (total 5 persons)
-Buried in the Monona City cemetery is LeGrand Olmsted (died 1858) & Polly E. Olmsted (died 1882), who are very likely Timothy's parents. There are many Olmstead burials in this cemetery.
