Bassett - Burrington marriage - 1923

Last Wednesday at the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Burrington, north of town, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Miss Ruth L. and Mr. Geo. Bassett, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bassett of near Arlington, Rev. E. R. Leamon, grandfather of the bride, of Manchester, officiating. The bride attended the high school and since that time has been one of Clayton County's teachers. The groom is a prosperous farmer. After August they will be at home on the groom's father's farm where a new bungalow is being built.
