Reeves - Axtell marriage - 1923

Probably the first June wedding occurred Monday in the home of her brother Meron Axtell, when Miss Fannie Axtell and Mr. Kenneth Reeves, of Waverly, were united in marriage, Rev. Maxwell officiating. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Axtell, and the past year has been domestic science teacher in our public school. The groom for the past few years, like his bride, attended the State Agricultural School at Ames. We learn that Mr. Reeves has a government position during this summer. The new couple will honeymoon at Ames.
