St. Mary's Catholic Church was the scene of a very pretty wedding Tuesday when Miss Ella Quinn, of this place, became the bride of Mr. Leo Boland, of Elkader. Rev. V. Casey officiated. The new couple were attended by Miss Jula Quinn and Mr. Joe Quinn, sister and brother of the bride. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Quinn, and for several years has been a teacher in the rural schools of Clayton County. The groom comes to us as a stranger, but we learn he is industrious and of good morals. They will be at home to their friends on a farm near Elkader.
