Yesterday forenoon at the Evangelical parsonage Rev. Franke united in marriage Lura Blanche Scriven, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Scriven of Strawberry Point, to Lawrence P. Meyer of near Elkader. The couple were attended by Avery Meyer and Mildred Trezona. The new couple will go to housekeeping on a farm near Communia.

Elkader Register, Thur., 17 May 1923.
