Hanff - Weger marriage - 1918

The marriage of Miss Martha Weger, of this place to Rev. Hanff, of Sheffield, Iowa, took place Wednesday evening at the German Lutheran church. Rev. G. Fritschel performed the service. The bride was attended by Misses Anna Weger and Theresa Miller, the groom was attended by Messrs. Emil Baumgartner and Walter Fliehler. The bride is youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Weger and for a number of years was a clerk in the Talcott, Dooley & Co. general store, leaving there about a year ago to attend school at Waverly. The groom, while a stranger to us, is pastor of the Lutheran church at Sheffield.
