Baumgartner - Samp marriage - 1918

Last Wednesday, May 22, at the German Lutheran church occurred the marriage of Miss Violet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Con Samp to Mr. Fred Baumgartner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Baumgartner. Rev. G. Fritschel presided. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Carrie. The groom was attended by Mr. Ray Durfey, of Edgewood. Mr. and Mrs. Baumgartner will make Oelwein their future home, where the groom will work in the shops.
