On Tuesday, May 14th, at high noon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Briar, occurred the marriage ceremony which united for life in the bonds of matrimony their oldest daughter Florence and Mr. William Tucker of Wheaton, Illinois. Lydia Ann Westover, of Princeton, Ill., and Mr. Ray Robinson, of Urbana, Ill., were the attendants, while Rev. Clyde Baker, of the M.E. church, was the officiating clergyman. The bride has spent the greater portion of her life in Monona and enjoys a large circle of friends both here and at Wheaton, where she has attended college for several years. Mr. and Mrs. Tucker will remain in Monona until May 25th, when Mr. Tucker goes to Camp Grant to begin his military training.
