The marriage of Miss Mary Shaeffer, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shaeffer, to Mr. Edward Strong, was solemnized at St. Mary's church, Wednesday morning, April 24, Father Horsefield officiating. The attendants were Miss Anna Berry and Mr. Harvey Strong, of Minneapolis, a brother of the groom. After the ceremony the bridal party went to the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. Will Dickey, where the wedding breakfast was served. The bride has grown to womanhood here, the groom has been a machinist in the Milwaukee shops here for several months and in January was made night round-house foreman. They left for Chicago, Des Moines and Minneapolis, after which they will go to housekeeping in the Everett Hagensick cottage.
