Elmer E. Schuette, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Schuette, of this city, and Miss Freda Koelke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Koelke, of Read, were married at Read on January 30, 1918, Rev. Athenstadt performing the ceremony. They will make their home on a farm in Jefferson township.
