Rogers - Liddy marriage - 1917

ROGERS, LIDDY, RAFTIS

At St. Joseph's church on Saturday, Sept. 29th, Rev. Father Taken united in marriage Miss Bernadette E. Liddy of this city and Mr. James E. Rogers of Rock Valley. Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Raftis acted as Groomsman and bridesmaid. Solos were sung by Miss Marjory Liddy and Mrs. J. P. Liddy. The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Liddy of this city. The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Rogers of Doon, Ia., formerly of this place. He is a graduate of Drake University, having finished in pharmacy. The young couple will be at home in Rock Valley, where the groom is proprietor of a drug store.
