Stoehr - Wirkler marriage - 1917

Saturday morning, Sept. 1st, in the Methodist Episcopal church, Miss Esther Sophia Wirkler became the bride of Harvey Stoehr. Rev. Clyde E. Baker performed the ceremony in the presence of the bride's brothers and sisters and the groom's father. They were unattended. The bride grew to womanhood in our midst and has many friends here and in Luana. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Stoehr, of Luana, and has made good in the hardware business. The new couple will make their new home in St. Paul, Minn., Where Mr. Stoehr is employed in the hardware business.
