Hood - Kramer marriage - 1917

HOOD, KRAMER, ANTON, MEYER

Monday, at St. Mary's Catholic church, occurred the marriage of Miss Maud Elizabeth Kramer, second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Kramer, of this place, to Roy Francis Hood, of Claire, Iowa, Father V. Casey officiating. The bride has been a popular school teacher. The groom is a prosperous young farmer of Claire. They were attended by Miss Kate Anton, cousin of the bride, and Mr. Martin Hennessey. The groom's mother and sister, Mrs. Meyer, of Claire, were here to attend the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Hood left Monday afternoon for a visit to St. Paul and Minneapolis, after which they will return to the home of the groom, where they will be at home to friends.
