Friends of the contracting parties were greatly surprised to learn of the marriage of Miss Florence Wickersheim and Herbert C. Ulish at the home of the bride's father, Henry Wickersheim, on Tuesday evening. Rev. H. Briscoe Hall, of the Congregational church, officiated. The bride's uncle, Frank Klutzbach, of Monona, was best man, and Miss Hortense Millman was bridesmaid. The happy couple left Wednesday for Cedar Rapids. They will visit the bride's aunt, Mrs. Otto Erbe, and then return home.

Elkader Register & Argus, Thur., 10 May 1917. Monona column.
