Alderson - Smit marriage - 1917

Last Thursday evening, at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. ad Mrs. J. R. Alderson, occurred the marriage of their son Walter to Miss Myra Smith, of Arlington, the groom's father, Mayor J. R. Alderson, officiating. The groom conducted a bakery shop here until a few weeks ago, when he disposed of the business. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith, of Arlington. She received her education in the Arlington public schools and is a active worker in the Church of Christ. Mr. and Mrs. Alderson left here Wednesday for Iowa City, which will be their future home.
