Tewes - Bruns marriage - 1917

At four o'clock Wednesday evening, Jan. 3rd, at the home of Mrs. Fred Bruns, occurred the marriage ceremony which united the lives of Miss Melvina Bruns and Wm. Tewes, Jr. Miss Nelle Kaiser was bridesmaid and Walter Garms was groomsman. Rev. Otto Wappler, of the Lutheran church, officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Tewes went to Mason City, where they will be guests of the latter's sister. On their return they will live temporarily at the bride's mother's home.
