McLaughlin - Allen marriage - 1909

At the Catholic church in McGregor, Wednesday, Rev. Father Landon officiating, occurred the marriage of James W. McLaughlin, of Elkader, and Miss Faye Allen of McGregor. The groom is the County Recorder of Clayton County and the son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. McLaughlin, of this place. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Allen, of McGregor, and for some time has been employed at the McGregor Post Office. They will occupy the Weiland house in Elkader.
