GUTTENBERG: Miss Althea Schroeder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Tindell, of Guttenberg and Mr. W. R. (Max) Oldham, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Oldham, of Mallow township were united in marriage by the Rev. Martn Peters at the Trinity Evangelical church in Guttenberg on Saturday morning. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Schroeder, brother and sister-in-law of the bride. The newlyweds departed after the ceremony for a brief visit with relatives and friends at Rock Island and Davenport, Iowa. The bride graduated from Guttenberg High. The groom graduated from Colesburg High and the Iowa Teachers college at Cedar Falls. He holds a position as principal and coach at the Consolidated Schools of Oneida, where the couple will make their home.
