Esch - Jewell marriage - 1934

Thursday evening at the Congregational parsonage in Elkader occurred the marriage of Miss Marie Jewell and Kenneth Esch, both of Strawberry Point, the pastor, Rev. C. T. Brewster, officiating. They were attended by the bride's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jewell of Elkader. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jewell, and for the past five years has been employed in the local telephone office. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Esch, and is employed in the coal, feed, and flour store operated by his uncle, H. J. Esch. They will make their home in Strawberry Point.
