Walz - Szemkus marriage - 1934

At St. Joseph's Catholic church, Tuesday morning, Sept. 25th, occurred the marriage of Miss Johanna C. Szemkus, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Szemkus, to Gerald R. Walz, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Walz. The Rev. James P. Taken officiating. Attendants were Miss Jeanette Walz, sister of the groom, and Laurence Downey, friend of both the bride and groom. The new couples home will be made at Lansing, Iowa.
