Marion Voshell and Frank Phillips were married Tuesday evening, July 31, at a ceremony held in the home of the groom. Rev. A. B. Chamberlain of Arlington performed the ceremony at nine o'clock. There were no attendants. The bride served as assistant postmaster here for the past three terms going out the first week of July. Mr. Phillips was appointed as Mayor of the town last fall and was elected to that office this last spring. He had served as councilman for the past 25 years. They left immediately on a ten-day tour of Canada, after which they will go to housekeeping in the home of the groom. Those in attendance at the ceremony were: Rev. and Mrs. A. D. Chamberlain of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Clarke, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Smith and daughter Doris, Mrs. Margaret Susie and Jennie, Frances Smith, Mrs. Blanche White and W. H. White.
