Engelhardt - Olson marriage - 1934

Thursday, June 21st, at the Norway church, Miss Ruby Olson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Olson of St. Olaf, became the bride of Mr. Curtis Engelhardt of Elkader, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Engelhardt. Rev. S. J. Strandjord, pastor of the church, officiated. Bridesmaid was Miss Marjorie Rierson, of Elgin, and Mr. Kenneth Olson, brother of the bride, attended the groom. The bride graduated from Elkader High school, and for two years has been a successful teacher. The groom also graduated from Elkader High school, and for the past two years has been employed by the Elkader Bottling works.
