FARMERSBURG: Marriage vows were taken Wednesday afternoon in St. John's Lutheran church in Farmersburg, by Dorothy Walter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Walter of Farmersburg, and LeRoy Schmidt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schmidt of St. Olaf. Rev. H. M. Adix, pastor of the church, officiated. Clarion Walter, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Eldo Tielbar, friend of the bridegroom, was best man. Helen Schmidt, sister of the bridegroom, attended as bridesmaid, and Maloy Walter, brother of the bride, acted as attendant. Victor Walter, brother of the bride, and Aloise Kadlec were the ushers. The newlyweds left on a short southern trip, after which they will be at home on a farm near St. Olaf. Mrs. Schmidt is a graduate of the Monona High school and attended Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls. Mr. Schmidt is a graduate of the Farmersburg High school and attended Iowa State college at Ames.
