Schmelzer - Grailer marriage - 1934

SCHMELZER, GRAILER

GARNAVILLO: Harry Schmelzer, popular young man of Garnavillo, and Miss Betty Grailer, of Chicago, were united in marriage Saturday morning in the presence of a number of relatives and friends. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. H. Sharphoff of St. Joseph's Catholic church at Garnavillo.

Miss Leona Grailer, sister of the bride, and Harold Koch, a friend of the couple, attended the celebrants.

The young couple plan to start their wedded life on the Schmelzer farm south of Garnavillo.

Mr. and Mrs. Maibauer and Miss Leona Grailer, of Chicago, and Mrs. Grailer, mother of Mrs. Harry Schmelzer, of Michigan, were here to attend the wedding.
