Palmer - Bauer marriage - 1934

Me___m G. Bauer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bauer of this place, became the bride of Marlyn A. Palmer of Springville, in St. Joseph's Catholic chuurch here last Saturday morning, The Rev. J. P. Taken, pastor of the church, officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Sheetz, sister and brother-in-law of the bride, were the attendants.

Mrs. Palmer is a graduate of St. Joseph's parochial school here. For about two years she has been engaged in the restaurant business here with her sister, Mrs. Sheetz, conducting the Riverside Cafe.

The couple left immediately on a honeymoon to Chicago, after which they will return to Elkader to make their home.
