Garnavillo - Miss Irene Palas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Palas of St. Olaf, became the bride of Alfred Thiese, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Thiese of Guttenberg, Wednesday afternoon at St. Peter's church, Rev. G. Bunge officiating. The attendants were Miss Delores Blunk and Bernhard Palas. The couple departed for a honeymoon at Milwaukee, after which they will make their home on the Fred Buckman farm near St. Olaf.
