Rier Knudtson and Susie Glaim were united in marriage Friday, Nov. 24, at St. Olaf, by N. Arveson, pastor of the Norwegian Lutheran church. The couple departed for St. Paul, where they remained over Sunday. Then they expected to make a tour of the west and visit relatives at various places. The couple were schoolmates and their acquaintance has been life long. The bride has just come across the ocean from Norway to wed the man of her choice. She is the daughter of one of the wealthiest and most highly respected farmers in that part of Norway. The groom is our popular blacksmith and wagon maker. They expect to return about Dec. 10th and commence keeping house in their home, which has recently been painted and remodeled and is now a commodious dwelling house, and Rier has it furnished to a queen's taste. Their many friends here extend congratulations.
