Uecker - Kline marriage - 1905

At the home of the bride in Cresco, Iowa, yesterday, occurred the marriage of Herman W. Uecker, of Elkader, and Miss Louise Kline. The groom was born and raised in Elkader and is the present assistant cashier of the Elkader State Bank. The bride for the past two years has been a teacher in our school and has many friends here. Those in attendance at the wedding from Elkader were: Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Uecker and Miss Jessie, parents and sister of the groom; George and Alta Witt, cousins of the groom; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Long, uncle and aunt of the bride; and Pearl Mahr. The bridal party returned to Elkader last evening and took possession of the Gaiser residence, which has been cosily fitted up by them for a home.
