Matt - Wahls marriage - 1905

At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Wahls, of Farmersburg township, at ten o'clock a.m., Wednesday, Justice Fitzpatrick, of this city, officiating, Miss Amanda M. Wahls and Mr. Jos. E. Matt were united in marriage. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Matt, of said township, and is engaged in the livery business at McGregor. Mr. and Mrs. Matt departed today on a visit with his sister, Mrs. Henry Schaefer, at Preston, Minn., and they intend to visit other places before they return home.- Democrat.
